Theme Follow uses Dim From / Until. Sleep still goes fully black. The moon button on the dashboard can override until the next dim start or end.

Advanced sync connection

Your Cloudflare Worker's ?sync= endpoint (requires a SYNC_KV namespace binding and SYNC_TOKEN secret on the Worker). Every device with the same URL shares settings, meals, countdowns, and list URLs — a fresh install pulls the family setup automatically. Leave blank to keep this device local-only. Protocol 2 keeps the token on this device only and sends it as Authorization: Bearer, never in the query string.

Use Sync V2 on this device Off by default. Turn this on first on the work computer after the Durable Object Worker is deployed; enable the kitchen iPad only after that gate passes. Protocol 1 KV remains for rollback.

Sync diagnostics and recovery

Sync diagnostics appear after a connection is configured.

Restore synced version

Snapshot list is empty until Sync V2 is enabled.

Snapshot id Restore writes a new revision; it does not rewind or delete history. The downloaded backup is private household data and never includes the sync token.

Slideshow diagnostics

Build, deck state, redacted image host, failure phase, recovery action, and viewport-edge probes. Album paths, query strings, tokens, and photo URLs are never included.

Layer paint is off. Kitchen iPad: open Photos, Exit, then copy the viewport probe. Paint layers toggles colored outlines for this session — tap it again to turn them off; you do not need a query string. If a URL still has ?viewportProbe=1, tap Paint layers off, use ?viewportProbe=0, or open the home-screen icon with no query. Paint probe does not change layout size.

System

Force refresh Reloads dashboard files. Use only when an update appears stuck.
